well a bunch of people are doing some petition thing for that show
but they should just put it on cartoon network
GOD i love cartoon network

what would be even greater if cartoon network aired Rocko's Modern Life

*orgasms*

just stick 'em both on the Adult Swim line up
You see, Viacom owns the rights to both of those cartoon shows.

Viacom (Nickelodeon) doesn't really like to show things that aren't from Clapsky Stupo or whatever they're called, because they (Somehow) know how to make shows that the miniature people we call "Children" enjoy to watch.

Unless Cartoon Network paid alot of money for them, they wouldn't get them.

The reason Adult Swim keeps getting shows from the WB is because nobody really wants them, and they pretty much... well... aren't that great.

It's too bad those bastard factorys at Nick cancelled it.

Vasquez came to the last Dragon Con and got asked a bunch of questions about Zim at his panel. This isn't a direct quote, but basically he said that the Nic people got him a contract, gave him everything to get underway....and then were really shocked when they actually saw the sort of show he gave them. Lot more than they were expecting for a kiddy show. They kept funding him to finish out the season, (since he was under contract and the money was already spent) but the series was pretty much killed as soon as they realized what it was.

Vasquez also said he'd probably never do another animated series, because the production was just hell...people teliing him what was and wasn't funny, wanting to stick random stuff in, etc. He said the frustration of working on Zim kinda got poured into his most recent comic "I Feel Sick" (Really, really good. Not as funny as JTHM...but then what is?)[/quote]

Man...kind of disappointing to hear that Jhonen Vasquez lost the show...still could have been worse (Nick tossed John K. out the door and continued to milk his show for two more years)

I gotta agree tho, JTHM kicks more ass...esp. Happy Noodle Boy

I'm tired of seeing Spongbob Squarepants 5-7 times a day!

Not to say the show is bad, but it just gets tiring to see the same thing about 2-3 times a week.

Fairly Oddparents can have some pretty good jokes, but I mostly watch Cartoon Network.

Oh well, it's a good thing I have a life that doesn't revolve around T.V. and computers.

JTHM has been collected into a graphic novel. Try hunting for that instead of individual issues.

Lenore isn't Johnen Vasquez, that's Roman Dirge. Similar style, but something of a step down in quality.

Not really a step down in quality, more like a step over in a different direction. But hey, it's your opinion.
