I'd normally say Dark Knight in the style of Cecil/FF4, but I can guess that Knight would come up a lot. So if not that, then.... a Panda who you only see in the background, playing go with some guy...or eating bamboo shoots. 8)

(By the way, I'm familiar with the whole RPG Maker 2000 program, so I'll have sprites and a talking picture up in an hour to two hours..)
