Battle System

Ok I dont know why some people dont like Kingdom Hearts. I like it because of its interesting battle system, not so much the story line but wouldn't be good to have atleast one Final Fantasy game with the battle system from kingdom hearts?

Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross had the best battle systems in my book. KH's wasn't bad either though, the real time was an interesting twist in Squaresoft.

I love ct's and cc's ...ct's more so. Xenogears had me hooked because of its great battle system. Star Ocean is another great...and you cant forget the mutiplayer addiction from Secret of Mana

The battle system for kingdom hearts was pretty good, and hopefully square will use it or something like it for later projects.
On the topic of later projects, has anyone ehard about them remkaing FF7 for the PS2 and when it is supposed to be unveiled? I really want to see Sephiroth in it and see what they will do to him. I just hope they don't do the "This world and its technology is sooo perfect and cool that IT SUX FUCKING ASS!" thing that they did to 8-10.

The Battle system in Grandia is great, I love the ability to move around, dodge attacks by timing your own attacks on different opponents, etc.

Additionally, while I was not overly impressed with the stories in Grandia II or Grandia X, the sense of adventure, fun, and character development made the original Grandia I a delight once you got into it.

FF7 was the best of the new ones, that and Tactics. But the best FF overall is VI in my opinion.

Kingdom Hearts has Sephiroth looking all cool, although yeah, a FF7 remake would be awesome (my fav game of all time). Although all I've heard on it was 2 years ago and no updates since, so it looks like just rumours...

Square did not go downhill after 7, 8 was great but totally under-rated, maybe people were comparing it to 7? 9 was excellent, the perfect tribute game, and 10 was (despite being linear) a great progression forward for the FF series.
