Hare my thoughts.
I think marijuana should be legal. While I am very much against the use of drugs, I think it is foolish to imprison people for marijuana possession. There are many, more important things to worry about in this nation... and we need the prison space for harder criminals.
Of course, seeing how "The Drug War" is a wonderful source of income for certain people... I doubt we will ever see sensible laws ever come into play.
I mean... we had that documentary showing that OUR taxpayer money has been used to bring drugs into this country and that MORE of our taxpayer money has been used to "fight" the people bringing drugs into the country... and playing fear cards on the American people... but hey... those guys aren't going to jail...
Anyway... I'm rambling now...
so that's all.

There are two kinds of people in this world:
Those who divide people into two kinds of groups
and those who don't.

human beings are the ones suffering, we need something to escape this hell. i know some of you can relate to what im talking about, and the ones that dont, well, you'll know soon enough. life sucks and its sad that humans rely on a pill or in this case marijuana to rid ourselves of the pain, but its true, so why not indulge?
in most cases marijuana is a flood gate of sorts. and in the political field it would act as such by opening up many more drug legalizations. we'd have fidgety heroine adicts in court begging for the ability to buy black tar from a 7-11, i doubt we need that. but if marijuana is made legal to use, of course we're going to have many other drugs to follow in its footsteps. and when that happens only the few stable individuals will continue to rule over our acid-induced piano playing, and maybe their rule will become more omnipotent then it is now. the government could hold out on our civilization until its demands are met. something like wearing handicaps(aka harisson burgeron) or no pockets. i want my fucking pockets god damnit, and if insuring my yo-yo carrying ability costs that of not wanting marijuana legalized, then so be it. but its going to happen, its something that cant be avoided. and neither is good ol mr. fidget screaming penis in my ear after getting a nice visit from grandma needle

What IS the problem with junkies getting heroin from the 7-11? Not a whole lot that I can see. The morons addicted to the stuff will still get it, and if you legalize it, maybe they'll at least save some money (and possibly OD, which occurs either way the legal wind blows).
Is that really such a bad thing?
