Anime sighting! (kind of....)

Post by BishounenStalker » Thu Feb 06, 2003 3:35 pm

I guess this is safe enough to put here. I went to Petland yesterday to kill time after class. They had the cutest little Pembroke Welsh Corgy puppy out (one of the handlers was holding it). I was like "Ahhhhh! It's Ein!" The guy actually knew what I was talking about, too. I got to cuddle the puppy while we got into a half-hour discussion on Cowboy Bebop. That royally brightened my day ^_^ Especially since the puppy SO didn't want me to leave!

I've had something like that before... I was in an electronics store (I forget which one) and was looking at there very small collection of anime. And from half way down the hall, someone is asking if I need assistance. I could barely hear them, because they were kind of soft spoken... At first. Well, I say no, because I was not looking at buying anything at that time, but just checking out of the prices were reasonable, a out of no where the guy goes (Remember, this is a middle aged 30 year old) "Oh man! I love DBZ! Too bad we don't sell it."
I could barely hold it in. I didn't know if I should hit him, tell him DBZ sucks, or just laugh.

... I've never been there since.

Hey...I've seen a guy that looked just like Spike Spiegal. I went to D.C. for the summer to stay with a cousin and one day while at the mall I ran into this guy in food stalls. When I looked up I nearly fainted. I then asked him if anyone had everytold him he looked like Spike from Cowboy Bebop and he said ya, all the time. We talked about Bebop over some fries for about a hour or so. Then my cousin showed up and she totally fell for the guy. They're still dating :) Its cool, cause I can say that me and Spike Spiegal are friends now 8)

Hehehe...ok, that last bit was a little lame

I saw a Spike Spiegel in Columbus, too. Worked as a delivery guy for Fireproof Storage.

Maybe a little young, but the curly hair and lanky frame were perfect. Even the way he carried himself suggested Spike.

Corgis kick ass. They're small dogs, but not sissy like those toy breeds. They have a certain manliness to them. They're smart too. Our last dog (before he died, may he rest in peace) had a fair amount of corgi in him, and he was damn smart. Annoyingly so, at times.

But yeah, corgis kick ass.
