Whoaaaaah. You just told me I could download a whole soundtrack? Shame on you! I was planing on buying it. Not downloading it.
The price thing isn't an issue. I just have this thing about holding an actual case and booklet in my hands and looking at the nice art they have on it... And knowing I'm not doing something illegal to a game that's probably lost enought of money anyway because people don't want to buy the soundtrack and rather download...

Um... ok for one, we're talking about the very first Castlevania game, for NES, right?
Because odds are they'll never print a CD of that to sell. Ever. It's far too old, and they haven't lost any money on that game, that's for sure, but a soundtrack would just not sell.
These soundtracks on this website are perfectly legal, or at least something neither Nintendo or Konami care about. When Nintendo did its big rom site purge a few years back, sites like this one got left alone. Conclusion? Nintendo doesn't care, so it's okeydokey. And it's not hurting anyone because there isn't any actual CD in print that can harm sales. The files I pointed to are about 5k in size, each. They're simply a music format file, much like MIDI, with specified instruments (waveforms, actually).
Now, if you were talking about the N64 Castlevania soundtrack, that's a different story. I have no clue where that would be, but even then, I doubt there's a soundtrack CD printed for it, and if there isn't already, again, odds are they'll never print one.

No Not NES. N64.. Like, the original that's name was only "Castlevania" with the incredible violin pieces, and the great big fag( I don't think it really was.. But, bulk in sales I guess..) of getting that soundtrack, since I know it's in print....
I know it's in print because Of seen pictures of it on websites, lyric lists, and even places that sell it online. Now not online is a completely different story, but online if you know where to look you can find it. The only problem is actually getting it... Since I'm only 15 I don't have a credit card, and most of the Anime/Game soundtracks I want arn't available on eBay(which is 90% bootleg anyway) or Amazon, which are the only two sites that my Father(the guy who actually buys stuff online in the family) trusts.
I mean, last Xmas, my Dad bought me The Shadow Hearts OST. A soundtrack I've been DYING to have for the last two years. The order was first delayed, and then Amazon finally said the order was cancelled in Febuary of this year. >.> Now that really sucks, because I haven't been able to find The Shadow Hearts OST anywhere else but Amazon anyway....
