Oh, and just to get a lil off topic for a second... there was something that I wanted to driect your attention to, zMatrix. It's an awsome program for your desktop. It writes matrix code on your desktop.

In my opinion it works best of you turn on the code onto transparent, though I'm not sure if theres that option on the 98/me version...

Did anybody stay till after the credits and see the Matrix: Revolution trailer? Now after watching that, I just wanted to piss my pants. It looks awesome. That Asian guy who Neo fought before he met the Oracle is back and he looks like he does more action....W00t! I can't wait, "It's like wiping your ass with silk...I love it.

I stayed after the credits. Indeed the trailer was good.
I have a rant I'd like to show you all that pretty much sums up my opinion of the 2nd Matrix movie.

Only thing I'd liek to add to that is the end. The end sucks balls.
I mean, Neo suddenly decides to play God and revive Trinity? If Trinity died it would have been something unexpected, like in the last movie, but nooo. And then, Neo suddenly gets the power to control the robots? CHEAP. Not to mention that when they went outside they could breathe, when earlier in the movie they established there was no air TO breathe.
Then there was the part where Neo met the Architect. I didn't hear a word the Architect said. I was too busy watching the little screens in the background.
I was looking forward to Matrix: Reloaded. I turned off all shows about it and interviews on it, and special things in the newspaper. I didn't want to ruin my expirence by unintended spoilers or get my expectations too high. It looks like all the the W. Brothers wanted to accomplish in this movie was a LBZ AMV and eye candy...

I thought that The Matrix: Reloaded was alright. I didn't think it was as entertaining as the first Matrix, but I think it did it's job of explaining some stuff that's relavant to the whole trilogy. I think that the next one might possibly be the best, depending on how it ends...
Maybe they're still in the Matrix?! The new and improved, 7th version Matrix...SQ wrote: Only thing I'd liek to add to that is the end. The end sucks balls.

I agree... I'm 17, but when I bought tickets (one for myself, the other for my 14 year old brother) I was expecting the lady to ask for ID, and she didn't. When we tried to get into the 6:30 ticket we realized (the ticket taking people pointed out) that we had one ticket for the 6:30 show and another for the 7:00 show... I talked to the manager and she told us that my brother probably wouldn't be able to get inside in the first place since my brother didn't have an ID on him... hmph. They weren't even checking IDs until she said something about it. Oh well, we had to trade in the 6:30 ticket and settle for the 7:00 showing.BrsrkEva wrote: The people that sell tickets at the local Showcase Cinemas are stupid also. One lady asked if I was 17 (I'm actually 16) and I replied "Yes" and was waiting for the line "Can I see some ID?" So I continued to buy my ticket and that was that. A 15 year old friend did the same, it was funny...

It sucked. Their was no chicks in it. The sex scene made me hurl my popcorn. The future looks sucky. I don't want to know in the future the idea of a party is to jump around like mad bunch of Hottentots! Can we use the word over use. Overuse of every thing they had in the last movie. It's gotten really old by now. I am not a fan of kung movies where people are flying around on wire. And to do the fight scenes for this movie it was slow the camera down now speed it up repeat. Stupid,Boring ho hum sucky ass movie. It goes right down there to hell with other crappy movies like Titanic. How dare anyone compare it to the masterpiece that is X2.

Anyways, I saw it last night and was relatively unimpressed. Sure, there were a lot of witty little references to the first one, some I don't think many people even caught (I.E. Morpheus mentioning the previous "one" was the first to free everyone in the first movie and now we find out that was the way the machines wanted it). But really, the plot sucked my ass. Every single character that Neo sat down and talked to (EVEN SMITH! THE ONLY PART OF THE FIRST MOVIE I LIKED!) spewed the exact same crap to him about choice and fate. I've heard that all before in so many other movies. God I wish I had brought earplugs! "Excuse me Neo, but don't you think we could be MORE vague with you?" God dammit! Just get to the stupid point! There were no lines in that movie that made me laugh (Although there were many other people in the theater that did) other than Link walking through the door and saying "Where's my pus...HEY!" BTW, what happened to Link? I figured they'd at least try to develope his character a little more towards the middle and ending, but no, he just sort of did his job and faded out. The fight scenes were very pretty and for the most part, entertaining. But even they eventually got old and repetative. And I almost walked out durring the sex/orgy scene (glad I didn't). Why can't people make good eye candy movies? Watching this made me feel like I was watching EoE all over again. All I kept thinking was "This is all very pretty, but can you shut up and get to the point please?".
Anyways, 6/10
The best effects are the ones you don't notice.
