Damn straight, we're in the front lines in the battle against mother nature. Throw all the earthquakes, tornado's, lightning storms, etc. against us that you want, in the end WE WILL BEAT YOU, MOTHER NATURE.

That's the only part of what you said that really bugs me.

I mean, I don't care how much we consume resources, as long as they get used for something. But to just throw food in the garbage.... that's immoral bordering on criminal!

I help with the adopt a highway program doing clean up....and we do pick up a lot...but 8 million a day...wow.

Gee doesn't that make you wan't to unconditionlly love our country? wha it doesn't? big surprise, man that pisses me off i mean that much is wasted? especially food? man i have to inherit this damn earth and i'd like it to be habitable!! *exhale* calmer now, but thats nothing compared to some of the stupid mistakes made in managing it, plus my own true opinions regard this as a process of nature......however i still agree that we should "save the cute furry critters" even if it is just so we can look at them......
