Hardware - Xbox

Most games - PS2

Xbox has some good games but is pretty standerd. It is the best system in graphics and all that. PS2 has the most games and is great for RPGs, thats why I have one. Gamecube has some good games to sart with but I don't know if they can keep it up. It's all about personal preference in my opinion.

Agreed! Of course I ONLY play PS2 for DDR and Final Fantasy (plus Kingdom Hearts).

By far I say Nintendo is the best. I have played all the systems and all their best games. Nintendo was the only system that I enjoyed. Im not gonna go into all the things that made me choose it (mostly because Im not really in a flame war mood right now) but be assured I gave each of them a chance to impress me and only Gamecube came out on top.

This argument has been going on for over two years, since BEFORE XBox and Gamecube came out. And to be perfectly honest, the best answer to this question is:

"IT'S ALL ABOUT THE GAMES, STUPID!!!!!!!"

Oh, in case you're wondering, PS2 and XBox. I don't have a Gamecube yet, although I've already got a couple of games; just waiting for the price to go down.

As for me I like the GC. Never had problem one.

The Xbox has total hardware issues. In fact the only way to keep it from overheating and frying everything with in a year simply do like I did. Mod a fan to the top using those plastic spaces they put on pizza to support the Xbox logo. It's almost perfect size for an 80mm, really makes one wonder.

The PoS2 is just a glorified Dreamcast with a DVD rom. Need I go on about the disappointment and anger fuming within me? As an avid gamer I have to say anyone paying more than $20 for that is getting sorely ripped off.

Yeah, I too like the GC the best although I'm a bit biased here because I own one (plus the old N64 and a DC). It doesn't want to be a semi-DVD-player, or even a CD player. Just a tiny console with great power - and mobility.
And the price was also fair. The day the GC launched it costed exactly the same the DC did back then, which is a perfectly acceptable price.

I own a gamecube and a xbox, im gonna have to go with my xbox because I use it so much more, and that guy talking about overheating was completely wrong.

But its really a personal preference....they are all good at different things, I like the xbox because it has the games a like, and makes them look pretty.

I like them all and own them all actually....but to answer your question

Xbox-Has the best graphics out of the 3 but has mediocre Japanese support, Microsoft proved that they dont need the support to stay afloat, Besides they got great Japanese games as is so im not crying at all, and with their RPG section slowly rising I think their going on a great path....besides who can pass up XBL, but hey thats me

PS2- Least graphics out of the bunch but has the comp support to make up for it's graphical short commings....their RPG support is solid and they get very unique action titles as well (DMC,ZOE ect) So Ps2 isnt really crying there

GC-Nice graphics but slow as hell in house development....I dont see how people can survive with only one console ....The last few games released have been a letdown in my eyes (Mario=Bleh,Zelda=too easy....a shadow to the greatness of LTTP,Wario=Im not gonna answer that) Nintendo's child reign is kinda bleak right now....I mean all of us kids who played the NES back in the day are now Grown Ups and we expect somthing a bit more mature (Im not saying get rid of Mario but atleast get another Mature character like Samus)

Well I guess all the consoles have their problems but I must say I like the Ps2 out of the 3, Not for the company (I dont care if they didnt come into the biz making games) Not for the name...but for the games. I mean look Gamers play Games, Not consoles
