But it's kind of strange when two guys are talking about pieces of eight and finding the captain's treasure ship in general terms, and a big black pirate guy is "packing the cannon" of one of them from behind.

Just an observation. Did they get that from the ride?
only a gay guy would notice stuff like that...
No, only a king fag person with a gay kitty as an avatar would omglol say that, I mean, omfg!

Their sequels are NEVER good. They even lack in promoting it, which is stupid by far....

"Pirates" huh? Awsome movie. Yup if they put all the effort into the sequels as they did the original then they would be good. But since they do not why do they even bother. Kinda like the Starwars stuff. the toned it down so little kids could see it so they screwed it up. How cares about the little kids. Let the prequel movies live up to the others. If you make the last three ovies that good you should make the first three live up to them.

Pirates of the Carribean was a good movie. However, since Johnny Depp has bashed America (safely from his home in France, of course), callling us stuff like mangy dogs with no teeth, etc, I don't think I'll buy the dvd when it comes out.

The character of Jack Sparrow (ahem....that's CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow) was the best part of the film. All of his talk about holding out for the right opportunity, and the whole "it all comes down to what you can do, and what you can't do", reminds me of the famous quote from Magnum Force(1973): "A good man always knows his limitations".

Quote of the Day:

"Stop bloody puttin' holes in my ship!"-Johnny Depp from Pirates of the Carribean(2003)
