Need a new player program for MP3s and video files.

Winamp 3 works as a Video Player too, but only briefly IMO. What's really cool is ZoomPlayer from www.inmatrix.com - now there is a Free version which plays files and the Pro version for cash which also plays DVDs. I have an older version which was completely freeware and also plays DVDs fine.
If you can get the old version from somewhere, nice, but if not the new free version works fine for everything too, besides DVD ^_^

Anyway it's really a neat player with transparent menus over the video, keyboard driven (or mouse however you choose). IMHO teh only player you need...

Zoomplayer just freezes up when it plays AVIs...

Winamp2 plays video now :\ it's not great but it's improving with each release(and winamp2 is a heck of a lot better than 3, which is a fucking memory hog).

WMP 6.4 and Sasami2K are what i use for videos...Sasami2K plays MP3s as well but it's playlist support is buggy so i don't use it....lots of features for video playback though

BSplayer lets you set movie files as background :O

But yeah, I use WMP or RealPlayer.

id go with winamp3. dont have it personally but seems to be the best next to wmp. or there is musicmatch for mp3's and divx for vids. u dont play mp3's and vids at the same time do u?
