As an amature writer, I try to make sure everything is perfekt. Usually, I'll make a secend post if I ever did screw up. I never really caught on to the use of abbreviations (LMAO, LOL, WTF, OMG), just a cheap time saver for those who don't want to put in the effort. As far as l33t, or elite text goes, I got a basic understanding of it thanks to the Mega Tokyo web comic, but I never use it myself, unless I want to quote Largo at some point in the future.
