Yeah, you're not trully free until you can do or say whatever the fuck you want to. Which, of course, includes the use of profanity, beating it off in public, and, hell why not, killing other people.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not condoning or endorsing things like that. Just making a point. I'm not really worried about the low level (DING DONG Conscience on line 2*don't lie SMB*) *sigh*, okay, HIGH level opression of society, without it, unfortunately, society would completely disintegrate. Sure, some people, like me, wouldn't change a thing about their behaviour, but most people, given the chance, would become as immoral and depraved as the worst mass murderers/rapists to ever set foot in society. It's human nature. The only thing that pisses me off is the fact the the government denies the fact that we don't have as much freedom as they make us out to have.

But anyway, what are the Amendments?

I. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

II. Government cannot prevent people from owning guns

III. In times of peace, No soldier can use others private property without their consent

IV. Government can't perform unreasonable search and seizures (requires a warrent)

V. No person can be held for a capital crime unless under indictment of a grand jury, unless they are in the armed forces, and are in a time of war. Right to legal counsel, can't purgure ones self.

VI. Person must be given a trial by jury from within the area they are accused of commiting the crime and be informed of why they are on trial, and have legal representation

VII. Right to a trial by jury

VIII. Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.

IX. No one right of the people may be used to override another right of the people

X. If power isn't given to the national government by the constitution, and is not denied to the states, then it is a state power.
