I don't believe in internet relationships. It just cannot be real when you don't have to share anything with your partner. Now, of course, internet relationships can EVOLVE into a real one, when the couple decides to meet up and at least hang out for a bit, but until then.. it's pretty hard, to the point of almost no real chance.

It's not like a god or something, these exist even if you don't believe in them.Densetsu wrote:I don't believe in internet relationships. Did any of you guys hear about the 16 year old girl from Oregon who dated some 20 year old she met on the internet? The guy committed some felony, and got the girl involved in a high-speed chase from the cops, made her walk 15 miles in the wilderness for a few days. The cops eventually found the two, arrested the bastard, and returned the girl.
Now, here's the really funny part. The stupid girl was the one who chose to take off with the loser. The same thing happened with another 16 year old girl, who was staying with her 38 year old P.E. coach. They got into some kind of intimate relationship, but the parents are acting like she was kidnapped. So now Dwayne "Dog" Chapman (the famous bounty hunter who got busted in Mexico for "kidnapping" that rich convicted rapist) is now on the case.
Internet relationships come down to one major flaw: teenage girls are so fucking sleazy, they'll run off and bang guys twice their age just for amusement. Of course, they don't care that the guy could be some psychotic serial rapist/murderer, as long as they get enough action and money to keep themselves entertained.

I have a friend who dates(or he says) someone from Maryland, and the guy lives in Anaheim. I sorta get what you mean. They had like 500+ minutes on their cell phone bill once. I mean, the chick isn't even that cool IMO. But it's like.. you're happy so we leave you alone but it's pretty hard to understand.DaggerDust26 wrote:internet relationships are weird and creepy. i rememebr telling my friend philly to go for a girl in REALITY, sadly never took my advice but is now dating a gilr up in florida, they actually chill and he flys from nyc to florida ocne a motnh on the 17th of every month just to see her. weirdo, but hey it works why not do it?
