Ok, even though I haven't seen the movie yet, I'm still reading the spoilers. (Fore-warned is... something.)
Anyway, how is that new MMORPG game suppose to work with the current ending?
Espically since it stats the the Brothers wrote the base story and that it takes place AFTER the trilogy.
(This is all taken from the main site and another thing is that you can only play as Rebels. What kind of shit is that?)

Two things....
Anyways.... Overall I enjoyed it.If I had done the movie everyone would have died and the machines would have won. (the ending was way too sappy for me...)
You can tell that neo will die because the oracle describes the balances that are in the matrix. Herself and the architect for one. Neo and Smith were opposites so if one went the other would have to also...

Yes and also, another reason Smith was able to beat Neo in Revolutions because:Savia wrote:TheDarknessFlame wrote:Yea I guess you can say that but by the end of that movie Neo kicked his ass with one hand. But in the second movie he fought like a hundred Agent Smiths at the same time and basically kicked there ass. So then all of a sudden Neo cant even beat one agent smith which doesnt make much sence. And where did Smith learn to fly?)v(ajin Koji wrote:What about the first Smith-Neo fight in "The Matirx"?TheDarknessFlame wrote:for some reason Smith was beating the hell out of Neo when in all the other movies it was the other way around.
Spoilers wrote:The impression I got from the movies was this:
1) Neo looses to Smith in the subway because he's still not alert to his abilities.
2) Neo awakens and beats Smith in the corridor.
3) Neo looses to the Smiths in the park. He has to run away as they get to be too much for him to handle.
4) Smith in Revolutions has all that power from his almost entire domination of the Matrix world. In his own words:
"Like what I've done with the place?"
Hence his abilities. Neo doesn't have the power to beat him. In fact, he loses. Then Deus Ex Machina takes over and fries the Smith program from the inside.
The Smith that chose to fight Neo was the one who assimilated(sp?) the Oricle. Therefore, he could "see into the future" and had already predetermined the fight. Were it not for the Matrix core making/allowing/whatevering Neo to self-destruct, if you will, then Smith would have most definatly won. And even IF Neo could have beaten that Smith, there were literately hundreds of thousands of Smiths left. (He converted the entire city).

By obtaining the Oracle's eyes, Smith did not obtain the power to alter the future. He even said he saw the future where he beat Neo, but when the time came, he was unsure of what was supposed to happen. It was like in Reloaded, when Neo saw Trinity fall, but he didn't see her die. Smith had yet to understand the choice he was making, so he could only see up to a point.

Hence why Smith was uncertain when standing over the prone Neo. He had seen the scene before with the Oracle's eyes and couldn't see beyond it because of the decision that was there, but misinterpretated this as being the end of it all. Hence his fear and doubt when Neo gets up again.
