didnt we all learn something like this in chemestry .... some elements (maybe its a type of salt) burn blue\purple when diluted with a little alcohol... some shit like that .. we had a demo done by our teacher ... and i really wasnt paying attention (i was sitting next to 3 cheerleaders in their miniskirts at the time ... )
...the problem I see a lot is that many good amv makers think they suck, and many bad amv makers think they're good.

the more i look at that link...it just reminds me more and more of how certain people shouldnt have the right to cosplay.
you have your fans, then your otaku...then your obessive...then you have these people...
here is to their lack of foresite and logic

all you guys are talking about the purple being a computer effect, it doesn't take a genious to realize diffrent things burn diffrent colors. Like salt burns yellowish orange, that's why when you throw it on fire it makes the fire "look" bigger, cuz all that fire on the outer edge that's so hot you can't see it turns yellow.
I believe lithium burns purple, I may be wrong but it's quite easy to get what ever it is that burns purple, it's an alkali metal. They're DEFINETLY using a liquid to control that fire, it's quite simple and easy to throw in a little Li solution, I'm pretty sur eby the looks of that fire and their crazy seriousness that fire is actually burning purple.
