It works, too. At least for writing or drawing. I just start writing about anything I can think of, even if it's just what I had for breakfast (if I didn't have breakfast, which is usually the case, I write about lunch). And with drawing, I just make a sketch of whatever's in front of me, no matter how uninteresting it is. It'll usually get me thinking about what I actually need to draw or write.

On a side note, as an artist I've developed a horrible dislike for blank paper

oh! that irritating blank stare...and u kow ure gonna remember everything when ure doing something else....the worst is when u have "everything" worked out and some stuff written down and ure just about to work on the amv or whatever then u 4get how u planned on even starting..when u take a look at the notes they don't even make any sense!
