I joined before ALL OF YOU! :p

Well, maybe not all, but when the org wasn't like this I was around. I'm an aged veteran in a sense.
First off, my BIGGEST run was originality. So NOW you all know why I used digisubs that were NOT licensed WAAYYY back when... I had my first 4 vids reviewed [and I even nicely asked veterans] to look at them. Of these 4, the 2 big people I kept bugging [and who nicely responded with good criticism] were ErMaC and icechai.
I didn't do anything dumb but first off, I read the guides. The amv to get me into making these monstrosities was none other than Odorikuruu. I don't think anyone was "inspired" in such a way. [and if so, I don't think ANYONE started making amvs "because" of this video...] anyone except me... ^_^
As a noob, I hid in the shadows and sought help from the "masters". Those 2 named being my main staple. Ever since then, I had started "formulating" a technique for my vids that both leans toward the music itself and bonds with it intimately... [ooooh intimate ^_^]
Still thinking like a noob, I declared a "possible" Odoikuruu experiment. [don't mention it or I'll have you shot] The run for this "learning" experience was probably the first EVAR "series" of amvs that I believe all belong together. "Feel the Rhythm".
Ever since I started FtR, I think I left behind my noob ways and learned the immaculate art of "TIMING" a video very well.
In short, what I learned (that all noobs are GUARUNTEED TO LEARN) is that short scenes cut on time with the music is good. Long scenes are ALWAYS ALWAYS FUCKIN' ALWAYS bad...
Now you know, how 2JA of Omni Strata Studios was born...
btw... [reads sig]
