Could be... or it could really be regional differences, i.e. the red bull here isn't the same as the one you get in North America. Just like how made-in-Thailand Pocky isn't quite the same as made-in-Japan Pocky.Tab. wrote:did you know that people have different amounts and variations of taste buds? you do now

The ones I can think of right now would be double-brewed coffee, the Coffee Frothe mix, and super Caffinated coffee.
There are also recipes I've been quandering but am afriad to try.
The only recipe above that isn't going to require extra sources of caffeine would be the double coffee one.
Double-Brewed Coffee:
Step 1: Make a pot of coffee.
Step 2: Put coffee back in coffee maker, empty/refill coffee filter if desired.
Presto, although this will probably taste like incredibly nasty shit to non coffee drinkers, large amounts of sugar may be required.
Coffee Frothe Mix:
Step 1: place 1/2 inch thick layer of frothe powder (or replacement caffeine source) at the bottom of coffee pot.
Step 2: Make coffee.
This is quite tasty and keeps you wide awake.
Super Caffinated Coffee:
Step 1: Make pot of coffee.
Step 2: Empty entire container of caffinated mints in coffee pot and/or coffee cup.
Also tends to taste like shit, Irish creme helps for taste if available.
Unused and possibly unsafe recipe #1:
Make double brewed coffee, but when you empty the coffee back into the coffee maker, add layer of Frothe mix at bottom of pot. (Just a combination of first two recipes.)
Unused and possibly unsafe recipe #2:
Triple brewed coffee. (Milk instead of water as variation??)
Unused and possibly unsafe recipe #3:
Double brewed coffee with caffinated mints and frothe mix.
I'm done.

Pepsi X is the best. It may have less caffeine and taurin, but you'll be able to drink more, seeing as it's not as fricken sweet as red bull and all other red bull rip offs. Pepsi X is what kept me going the last few days. Normally I just drink loads and loads of coffee, but I found Pepsi X to be a good substitute. It's alot cheaper too.
If you want both energy drink and alcohol in one, try Pushkin Timewarp. Nothing beats posting drunk and hyper. 8)

That'll also fuck up your coffee machine, since it's supposed to handle water and not liquids with all kinds of stuff dissolved in it. The water here is hard (hard as in: lots of calcium), and we have to buy new coffeemachines on a monthly basis.KhayotiK wrote:The ones I can think of right now would be double-brewed coffee, the Coffee Frothe mix, and super Caffinated coffee.

The others could be good, but the best thing yet is electric water.
Step one:
take water
Step two:
Add a tablespoon of pure caffeine fresh from the lab.
Guaranteed to make your heart explode if you stress too much. XD

...or maybe not...
...either way it's still tasty and I'll recommend it as my Drink of the Week
This is usually served in a Brandy Snifter or occasionally a Martini glass which seems largely based on the whim of the Bartender.
1/2 Redbull 2 to 3 oz.
1/2 Vodka 2 to 3 oz.
Personally, as a matter of taste, I prefer a mix of 2/3 Redbull to 1/3 Vodka.
I should probably recommend not drinking a lot of these, since they tend to hit pretty hard, but they are good for a jumpstart if you're starting to feel a bit groggy and run down while out prowling the bar scene.
