Ahhhhhhh, procratinating. 8) I do this A LOT!
It's kind of funny because when I was a junior in high school, I had to write a research paper about Grapes of Wrath and Cannery Row (both by John Steinbeck, if you wanted to know) and their relationship. I had a week to type up the paper, but I did it on the day before it's due. After my English teacher graded it, I got a 98! I got the HIGHEST grade from her ENTIRE class.
OH YEAH! 8)

Yeah I totally did no work at all in highschool. If it was in paper form with the intentions of after school use, I wasn't going to have anything to do with it. The only reason I achieved my "C"/ "D" average was because I totally rocked all my test and research projects.pyro_256 wrote:at least you get your work done eventually. i never handed in a single piece of work last year. i didn't even hand in all the tests i had throughout the year
Now college was a totally different scenario everything was turned in on time if not early. Of course that turned out to be my downfall. That bitch of a professor kept changing the damn rules up to the night before the work was due. Then we would all be screwed.

whoa....your middle name's procrastinator too?danielwang wrote:I am, and no amount of help can help me now.
I make people wait 2 mintues beofre I come. I am 15 minutes late to every scientific conference and symposium. I do homework last minutes. I have a term paper due today and I'm surfing the forums.
I'm a perfectly intelligent person and I get C's. Why? I enjoy learning and I commit myself to it... so what happens?
Did I mention it takes me half an hour to wash the dished PERFECTLY, 7 minutes at McDonals? etc?
Stupid procrastinators. Including Me, Myself, and I. Stupid me...
wats worst if you're a lazy procrastinator.....>_>....<_<...w/ a bad memory.... =O "its not like i meant to start 1am this morning to finish this 10 page paper for class, teacher, its just i...well....o-o i forgot!" and then i get my ass handed over to me.

I procrastinate really really really badly. Couple that with a lack of tolerance for things I don't like, well, I don't really get much done. But it seems like I'm like all of you: i work outstandingly under pressure. I find that if I have ages to do something then theres no panic drive for me to do it. If, however, its a 10 minute oral report plus a 1300 minimum word essay due in about 3 hours, I can get it done, and pass really well. Strange....
SarahTheBoring, you took the words right out of my mouth. They do say that great minds think alike and... ooh, my watch is shiny......

Hi hi! Um...yeah. Procrastination is a way of life for me. I've tried to stop, but it's just that DAMN addicting. Every project I've ever done was planned the day before. I've had some pretty good grades following that system. I believe the lowest I've ever had was a B-.
Btw, this is his 'lil sis again typing as his SN again. This would be my 2nd post...how sad and unfulfilling. lol

high school = not really work
Thats what makes people procrastinate more, the fact that it only really takes about 3 minutes to do homework, and there is really no need to study. But then again its all about priorites, procrastinating homework just means that you put tv or videogames, or posting on forums ahead of it.
