favorite video game

xbox is actually a decent system with some good games. alot of people think it's a bad system cause microsoft made it but the thing is microsoft isn't making the games. and the games are whats important. i understand the xbox bashers cause i used to be one but now that i have one and have played an xbox, a gamecube, and a ps2, and of the three the xbox has kept me buisy longest. of course all systems are good but gamecube games are by far the quickest to get bored off. granted nintendo has done some great things and super smash bros melee is a godly game but it's not worth buying a 200 dolar system with no other games worth playing. anyway as for playstation, i think it's fine and there are good games for it. theres nothing wrong with gaming company competition cause when they compete we gamers win with lower prices and better games faster.

not to get off topic but i gotta ask. i seen alot of people reply with ff people in the anime questions. final fantasy isn't anime is it, i mean all the cut scenes are cg and the character design while similar to anime has nothing to do with the genre... so it comes from japan. so do most video games. why is ff included into anime?
(now i don't have anything against it i just like to know why it is and not other stuff)

I've played x-box alot (cuz one of my friends is a self proclamed microsoft whore) and the only game on it that kept my entertainded was Halo. GC has a bunch of games that I like that kept me intertained longer. Rouge Leader is great, Resident Evil kicks ass, Pikmin was good, but it doesn't have much replay value after you beat it, and of course SSBM. Turok is ok if you like mindless shooters with cool weapons. Eternal Darkness is a vary good game, though it seems to be an aquired taste. PS2 is ok, but most of it's good games are on other systems. I hear Kingdom Hearts is totaly the shit, but I haven't played it yet.

I'm not sure about the ff thing. I think it has to do with the anime-esc stories in the series.

Pong was ok, but Mortal Pongbat rocked the house. Best shareware game ever.

Pongbat was still better. You had lasers and could detroy your oppents bar and get a ponality. You could get pick ups and there were different kinds of balls and stuff. My friends and I would play that game for hours every day. It was for Mac too.

Pong is still the best.

I got one of the old original Intellivision Pong games where it not only plays Pong, but... get this... 3 DIFFERENT VERSIONS! It has normal Pong, soccer Pong, and something else, but original Pong is still the best Pong.

Pong was used 7 times in that paragraph.

How about Star Fox for the SNES? I never knew what I was fighting or what the other guys where talking about. Everything seemed to be like floating cubes with glowing parts on where to shoot. But a great game considering it is such an old game.
