Man you Americans are lucky, not only do you have anime in your stores, but you have great cars aswell,
Well I'm catching up, I started an anime entertainment company here in South Africa, and I bought the one and only 66' Pontiac GTO in the country (sure I can't get parts, sure it needs alot of work).. but it's one hell of a car, the 6,5 Litre chevy Big block puts out about 370 Bhp... Once I convert it to fuel injecton... well then we'll see
Right now it still runs well, I use it as advertising for Black Blade Anime (I park it outside our events and stick posters on the thing)... since it's a unique car in this country I get alot of stares
For restoration parts, contact my old boss at this website:

I used to work for this guy. He's a retailer for GM A-body parts. He can also get you plenty of restoration manuals for the '66 GTO. I know, because I used to own a '68 GTO with the 400 Pontiac big block. Yes, the 6.5L is actually a big-block Pontiac motor! Olds/Buick/Pontiac used the 400 and 455 big blocks, while Chevy used the classic 396, 402 (for the '70 Nova SS), 409, 427, and 454. Now, if that's not confusing enough, the Oldsmobile, Buick, and Pontiac 400's and 455's are slightly different (each make's engine has it's own unique bore and stroke combo, so an Olds motor puts out a different torque curve than a Pontiac motor).
What the hell? You want to go EFI? Jesus Christ, man, you have no taste! It's a '66 GTO! You need to use the classic tri-deuce setup (three 2 bbl carbs). Barry Grant makes a tri-power carb setup w/ intake for small-block Chevys, but I haven't heard of any versions of this product for big-block Pontiacs. But if you're gonna go EFI, I'd recommend the Edelbrock Pro-Flo kit, with the 1200 cfm throttle body.
