Patriotic my left testicle. It was about celebrating christ's birth in this country, earlier on, now it's just about buying gifts on christ's "birthday" (even though he wasen't even born in december) Sheapards don't have there flocks out in the dead of winter. Anyway. It's hypocritical because people are all against god yet they celebrate his birthday by buying gifts. It's hilarious. That's like me suddenly taking up celebrating Kwanzaa even though i'm Native American.

that was ignorant and prejudicialMinnieMoose wrote:Patriotic my left testicle. It was about celebrating christ's birth in this country, earlier on, now it's just about buying gifts on christ's "birthday" (even though he wasen't even born in december)
there are many variables that could have 'casued that, one - there was no shed for the sheep to go.Sheapards don't have there flocks out in the dead of winter.
that as well is prejudiced and ignorant. mchristains celebrate it for christ, others becauses of the sybolism of the holiday. don't laugh at somethign that's beneficial to many if not all parties involved.Anyway. It's hypocritical because people are all against god yet they celebrate his birthday by buying gifts. It's hilarious.
it's especially important to you, because it spreads teh name of christ. you've seen at least that importance.
there's nothing wrong with that and nothign strange about it either. to say otherwise would be again, ignorant and prejudicial. That's like me suddenly taking up celebrating Kwanzaa even though i'm Native American.

I've been there. I dunno if we have been to the moon or not. Who knows. Certainly not civilians who arean't aloud to go up there.
And lyrs, it's not prejudice, it's calling it as it is. People celebrate it for free gifts. And kwanaza is a black empowerment celebration, so if i were to celebrate it even though my skin is darkened, it's not black.

Scales and feathers have the same base structure and start out with the same construction. In other words, scales can become feathers.digital_monk wrote:There is no evidence for macro-adaptation (the idea that an animal with fur would develop feathers and learn how to fly).
Not trying to prove evolution to you with that one but you seemed to think fur wrought feathers...just not the case.
I bred rabbits as a young girl. I know for a fact what a genetic mutation looks like and that it not only can happen it does happen. How else are dogs like poodles and irish wolf hounds both related not only to each other but wolves? Humans have been doing genetic experimentation for years We call it selective breeding. Nature calls it evolution.
But evolution is just a genetic mutation...not a synonym for improvement.

as you sayMinnieMoose wrote:And lyrs, it's not prejudice, it's calling it as it is.
what's wrong with free gifts? are yous ayign that Oprah giving a house away to a poor homeless family is not right? are you saying that me giving the gift of my time to the local charity office is not right?People celebrate it for free gifts.
would i care? you may not be of african heritage but the ritual may serve some spiritual signfigance for you. just because you aren't black and of african descent doesn mean you can't learn something from the ritual. And kwanaza is a black empowerment celebration, so if i were to celebrate it even though my skin is darkened, it's not black.

i want to capitalize on that point. evolution is not about progressive advancements toward some higher being, it is about random, local change. sure, these random changes often can form new speices able to survive more efficiently, but that doesn't mean that the new species was meant to be.MistyCaldwell wrote:But evolution is just a genetic mutation...not a synonym for improvement.
