Sad to say but thats about the nicest thing anyone has said to me in about 2 weeks..

Well, I kinda have the knack for saying the right thing at the right time. Of course, it's completely offset by the times when I end up saying the worst thing possible. Guess you caught me on one of my good daysKazutaka wrote:Score number 2 Gaikotsu. Keep this up and you'll be my new friend.

Glad to know I could cheer you up again.

Oops, almost missed this. Yep, I go to MTU. Didn't know the university's reputation was that widespread.Trident wrote:Sorry to be completely random, but combining this with your location, are you up at Michigan Tech?Gaikotsu wrote:(I live in a rather small college town where the population is about 2:1 guys to girls. I'd add my thoughts on the subject at hand, but they've pretty much been stated before...

While we're on the topic of Michigan... we beat 'em 30-27!
We may not have beaten one Michigan, but we beat this one.

Well, I've actually been up there on vacation... the brother of one of my closest friends goes to Tech as well, so I know enough about the place to make mental connections.Gaikotsu wrote:Yep, I go to MTU. Didn't know the university's reputation was that widespread.
Oh, and my school football team just beat yours in our homecoming game.

Gah! Sorry, didn't look at the "location" section under your avatar before I posted last time. Of course you'd know about MTU if you're from the state. Guess lack of sleep can keep a person from noticing the little details.Trident wrote:Well, I've actually been up there on vacation... the brother of one of my closest friends goes to Tech as well, so I know enough about the place to make mental connections.Gaikotsu wrote:Yep, I go to MTU. Oh, and congrats on your team's victory I guess. Personally I'm just happy that we still have a football team. After the budget crisis last year, MTU actually dropped the football program. It was only donations from alumni that kept it going. The administration here really has their heads up their asses.

Yeah... it kinda surprised me when I saw that we were playing Tech. (Heck, it surprised me that I even realized it was Homecoming week. I'm kind of oblivious about that sort of thing.)
