Heh, if you live anywhere near Ohio, I'd say it's just watching your back to read this book. Knowing what sort of people are around you can be a safety measure - not just a sign of my inner evil. ^_~

The Great Book of Amber, which is Roger Zelazny's Amber series in one very large book. Just finished it today, actually. It gets loopier and loopier as it goes on, but it's quite good.

An old book By Michael Crichton called Disclousure and it was on Kick A** book. Very kinky
Why do we try to keep our sanity when losing it is so much more fun?

But my mom bought me the Harry Potter set when the new book came out (she's a big fan, and she wants me to write fantasy instead of horror ~_~ ), and the last book I read (two days ago, I'm afraid) was House of Secrets by Lowell Cauffiel - a true and very twisted story. ^_^; I like to read documentaries on US psychos, call me strange, but I'm interested in cases where real life insanity is even more horrific than fiction - I'm an old King, Koontz, and Straub fan when it comes to novels.

Read about Albert Fish, also known as the fisherman.

Me personally, Jack Kerouac is badass, but you can't really understand On the Road unless you've hitched like he did.
I'm buying "Naked Empire" the New Terry Goodkind book. Makes Robert Jordan look like an 11 yr old looking at a playboy... we're talking Violence, Blood, intense plot, gratuitious rape, and if you read Book 3, you'll never look at a lambchop or boiled egg the same!

I think they were Steven Kings Hearts In Atlantis and Anne Rice's The Vampire Armand. TVA was disappointing... and Hearts in Atlantis is a favorite of mine.
