I thought the Final Fantasy XI already came out.

FFXI just came out in NA for PC -- PS2 version is coming later. This'll be one I'm going to miss, since you can only play this online -- there's no off-line version at all. Considering my current back-log of RPGs, I just cannot get excited over a game that I have no way of knowing if I'll be able to pick it up next year, or in five years, and be able to play. Personal issue.

Seven's still my personal fave of the FFs -- it's the first one for me, and so far the only FF I've completed multiple times. Anxiously awaiting X-2 and CC; currently have copies of I to X (except for III -- the original FFIII, not VI, I've got that).

It did, in Japan. Americans still have to wait a few monthes... or something, I don't know. Oh, and one more thing about FFVI, it was easily the peak of the moogle population. It's the only one where you actually get to play a moogle! (Cat Sith doesn't count) Go mog, woo!

Hmm..there are alot of good games in the series, but my faves have to go in this order:

6, 7, 5, 9..and Tactics.

As for 11, it is out in the US, but only for PC..the PS2 version doesn't come out until either January or February, when it is bundled with the PS2 HD. The PC version has the expansion pack, Rise of the Zilart(sp?). So far, the people I know that are playing it are liking it, but like everything else MMORPG, I'll wait until the bugs are out before I attempt it.
