They've been planning on making it for a while. They had decided on a director a long time ago, but never did find a script they liked.

The movie is taking place in fucking Antartica. How entertaining is it gonna be? I can see a few hundred "The Thing" rip-offs coming. I just know it.

Doubtful if you'll see any references from "The Thing"...unless they're sitting around lighting their blood on fire to see who's gonna have an alien burst out of their chest next?

Why do so many people think the Predator would win? That makes no sense at all. I mean if Danny Glover could beat one of them...I could understand Mel Gibson...but Danny Glover...

The Predator would win at a distance, and the Alien would win in melee combat, simply because even if a Predator did manage to kill an Alien up close, the acid blood would still take it out.

yes there was a Batman vs Alien 2 part comic that I was aware of..cause I still have it....somewhere....it had a big ass crocadile (sp?) alien that makes the Queen look like...uhm...a "bitch"...
