Well, getting the ROM for yourself is up to you. Just get the Japanese ROM image. Then go to http://www.zsnes.com/dejap and get their translation patch. After that, all you gotta do is use SNESTool (Downloadable from http://www.zophar.net ) to apply the IPS patch to the game image.
Then just load up zSNES, load the game, and play

I'm starting to get very nervous at the fact that square is actually going to make Final Fantasy X2. It compleatly rapes and destroys the eccence of the FF legacy. There are no sequels. You are playing that world's final fantasy. This sucks twelve pounds of cock.

i no, what you mean. now if they made a a remix of ff6 with the same story and stuff, just better graphics, that would be hot.
Computer games don't affect kids. I mean, if Pac Man affected us as kids, we'd all run around in a darkened room, munching pills, and listening to repetitive music~Kristian Wilson, CEO, Nintendo Gaming Corporation

That would not be hot. That would be insane. It would sell out, everywhere. It would fly off the shelves. It would be unstoppable.
FF chronicles was ok but can you imagine playing through all of FFVI. with the character animation and sequences to the caliber of FFX?

I think FFX-2 is going against the general rule, yet I don't think it will do too badly anyway. And the thing similar across all Final Fantasys thus far has pretty much just been that they are turn-based RPGs. When there is a different universe each time it's difficult to make sequels. Although the FF name slapped on isn't the only thing that connects them for the hardcore gamers, it's always the subtle references, and the same team and producer that makes them. Although now that's changed, I agree, the similarities are thinning more and more. I for one am actually looking forward to FFCC, and XI for that matter, change is always good, yet I hope they don't let the classic style die.
And I don't know why so many of you seem to dislike 9, it was supposed to be a tribute game and I think was achieved perfectly, and ranks very highly in my opinion.

I liked FFIX. I only had a problem with the character design. Not that I wanted to see the "teen" style of FFVIII and FFX. But Garnet's oversized head just bothered me. The "Limit Break like thing" (I get'em confused) was ass. The constant pink glow was like a bad sailormoon episode. I also have a terrible aversion to pointless characters like Qu. Other than that I thought it was great. No villian has come even close, in coolness, to Sephiroth.

I didn't play FF9 much (too busy playing GOOD rpgs like Chrono Cross <which I bet it would be BETTER than 9... and it was -_- won me $10!!, Grandia 2 and Skies of Arcadia) but I couldn't get over garnet's tail... and vivi's swinging arms was just TOO cute ...Wykith wrote:I liked FFIX.
