I'm pretty sure she/he/it is reffering to those 50 calibur sniper rifles the Rangers use. Those sons of bitches are HUGE and quite lovley. You could shoot a guy in the leg and his HEAD would explode!

I believe akira person that you are reffering to THIS! It IS nice, isn't it?

Barrett M82A1, if I'm not mistaken. 5 or 10 round detachable box magazine, semi-automatic operation, not available to civilians, especially in California, to my knowledge. Although civilians can own .50 BMG weapons.

Supposedly a properly primed and fired .50 BMG round can go something like 1 to 2 miles and still cause damage.

So definitely not short range. Apparently a Canadian soldier in Afghanistan set a new sniping record with one.

It's the longest ranged sniper rifle this earth has ever seen. It can fire over quite a few MILES and can only be fired when properly mounted. For those who only have ground it has a bi-pod that can be distinguished below the nozzle in front of the clip. It is lighter than it looks and the fire power can creator a crator like the one in Hiroshima in your chest.

As you can tell, I like it. My REAL military weapon of choice.

Ya, true. I still like the M-99 better. Still, let's not forget...

This little beauty. It's a 20mm Antittank rifle. Never leave home without one. I can only think of ONE better gun to lug around with BETTER destructive capabilities...
