I think everything, even miracles have an explanation based in logic. Maybe we can't understand because of principles we don't know about or maybe it's just beyond our grasp right now.
Chance is also a highly mistaken variation of a miracle. In all the times and all the ways things can happen, it's going to be good for someone..sometime. That's pretty vague but I am talking about divine intervention being confused with chance. A million people can die of cancer and the unique circumstances of an individual's body may see them through in an unexpected way. Medical science/chance/personal chemistry and situation all play a part.

I wasn't complaining about which is worse, I feel they were both pretty minor, it just gets to me that publicity makes any one minor incident more tragic than another. The tragedy was loss of life and nine and seven are pretty weak, though still significant. Even combined they don't compare to earthquake tolls or other major natural disasters, but they don't get the ridiculous coverage that the Columbia has gained. The only justified coverage of a major event was September 11. Nothing else I have ever heard about has been given appropriate media attention in regards to death.Mroni wrote:
Ok this is pretty petty who's tragedy was worse? I am sorry to hear about your train wreck I don't watch the news anyway.

Aw crap, problem... People see it, but the "technological magic" that is the camera film does'nt...RadicalEd0 wrote:oh yah omni take a pic of that tree and post it :OKhayotiK wrote:Even Ed cannot realistically prove his beliefs.
I have OLD pics of the tree but then again, it looks like a normal fookin' tree...
It's a HUGE annoyance when you just can't give scientific proof about miracles... Hey, I just remembered something in Kanon: anime...
"Miracles are called that because they don't happen..."
[cries gently...]
anyways, it'd be nice if I could but as far as miraculous events occuring, it's just a spiritual thing I guess... Being a Martial Artist, the training does give insight on things less explained (factual) and more theoretical (maybe so, maybe not)...
Well, the flames haven't ignited, yet...

i think that there is a so called "supreme being" that we call god. its plain simple, i dont think that the universe or the planets created by themselves thats all, and the scientists havent present a logical answer on how the universe was created, in my opinion.
like fyrtenheimer said, its all about faith u believe or u dont. a lot of people said the well if god exist there wouldnt be wars and violence, etc etc... its very clear that god doesnt interfere in this things because his just testing the faith of the people that believe in him.
