Very annoying form of writing! I am not interested in how beautiful a man is.

damn you beat me to that one. I love Anne Rice, it is very descriptive but is a very wimsical way. Her characters are fantasic and I am always gripped. 'Interview with the Vampire' the first film was very good but don't go by that shiity low budget piece of crap that in no way resembles Queen of the Damned, I've read the first 5 books of the series and that is the best one.

Anyway, she's brilliant, really seductive and decadant, I always came away from reading them with a real appreciation for life. God that sounds so cheesy but I can't think of any other way of saying it.

READ THEM

Agreed, but readers be forewarned, its a heavy story that may cause somewhat severe depression for a while, its not a happy book. It's a true account of a holocaust survivor, its like visiting the museam.
The best effects are the ones you don't notice.

MmmYep, sorry Mr Oni, but the Vampire Chronicles are not whacking material. And I agree with tacooe 100%, very gripping stories with enough action to keep me happy. Furthermore, the movie Interview With the Vampire was terrifically done, and I doubt there could have been a better selection of actors for the roles. And once again, yes, Queen of the Damned had pretty much nothing resembling the book, yet I still enjoyed it, pretty much for the scenery and soundtrack. I bought the dvd for the simple reason of ripping the vampire music videos out of the extras... Actually I have yet to do that. :|

that may still be my favourite real movie, like with actors. You know the whore that Lestat gets for Louis and then puts her in the coffin well over here she's in Nescafe ads, what a step down. One day you're getting bled by Tom Cruise and the next your drinking coffee in your night gown for royalties, such a talent gone to waste.

I couldn't stand Queen of the Damned, I layghed and was disgusted the whole way through. If Alligah(however you spell her name) hadn't of died it was going straight to video
