Im still a fan of the Mag-lev, Idea although we would need a whole new road way system.

Misty, What about the environment? Burning oil, and releasing oil into water systems is a servere crime against the environment. Even more so when it is done on purpous.

But in a war, where murder is no longer defined by the presence of self defense, and in a situation where survival (basic instincts) take over....how can you govern those actions?

The first part seems to point out that murder is no longer defined by an act of killing that is not in self defence. Does that mean one can murder, even when done in self defence?

I don't see how that applies to the current situation (or how the murder part even makes sense). With U.S. POW's being presumably executed after capture

hmmm, well, i'm sick of people bitching about the people that protest, at least their standing up for what their beleiving for if nothing else, and everybody knows that the protesting isn't going to do anything as far as the war is concerned, but at least it's showing the rest of the world that we're realy not being represented by our govt. yea, saddam sucks and is an asshole and all that other shit, i agree with that, but i think there are alot better ways of going about getting his ass out of there than bombing the fuck out of the country and the citizens of that country, yea it sucks that they executed pow's but in all honest, if they weren't prepared to die they wouldn't be signed up to serve in the military now would they, and before somebody flames me saying they have family in the war and all that other shit, i do too, i've got two family members over there in fact, and i know for a fact that they are prepared to die for what their fighting for and what they beleive in, that out of the way, what he did to his citizens is none of our business, it's not up to us to punish the motherfucker it's up to the U.N. and they clearly did not sanction this war, they have not approved of this war we are taking matters into our own hands here, call me a hippie all you want but i realy don't understand the purpose in war, yea something should be done about saddam but i surely don't want innocent people killed in my name, and you might not be concerned about oil prices but maybe it's because you don't have any responsibility, i myself am unemployed and i'd LOVE to get a job but i can't afford the fucking gas to get to work for 2 weeks before i get a goddamned pay check, i can't afford the gas because i live at least 15 min from the closest city, if you live in a city it wouldn't be that bad but i don't, so if you want me to stop protesting this stupid ass war that started out of greed and from a fucking family fued, bush is pissed at saddam because he put a fucking bounty on his dad's head, fuck this stupid war, and fuck our stupid ass president

I never said that it wasn't, but that doesn't mean that we should start stupid meaningless fights. I can understand Afghanistan but not Iraq. I agree that peace is something that will rarely come, but I thought that America and Americans in general were smart enough not to start wars. We have opened a pandora's box that will lead to our own destruction.
Morons who fight and slaughter, and justify there actions for peace don't deserve to run this government.
