In highschool my favorite classes were Drafting and CAD (computer aided drafting) since I was the only girl and I got to 'tutor' the guys. It helped that the teacher was the football coach and couldn't figure out the handbook for the computer programs.
In college I liked Ethics, Fluid Power, Statics, Creative Writing (gorgeous 28 yr old professor ^_^ ), and Shakespeare (we got to design and act out scenes from plays for our final project).

Drama and Ancient History.
Drama is mad cuz its not really much for me it comes naturally cuz im a guy who is always on the stage and getting everyones attention.
and History is the best because its fascinating, knowing about the past to help better the future.

In High School: Band, 'Shop' (i.e., drafting, woodworking, CAD, basic engineering design), and Electronics. Early in HS I enjoyed the 'Computers' class, but mainly because I knew more about computers and programming than the teacher and did all the assignments in the first week of the class (took it over the summer along with Drivers Ed so I could get my license as early as possible) and then spent the rest of the classes either playing computer games or assisting the teacher.
In College: Band and my Psych. classes. I wish we'd had a Vid. Tech. type class, but all of that was extracurricular for me. My research 'class' was also fun- getting paid to break things (materials testing) is always fun

No. Protecting profanity under freedom of speech is the same as protecting masturbating in public as freedom of expression. There are limits, you shit faced, cock sucking, motherfucker!downwithpants wrote:Doesn't that cross the First Amendment?DTJB wrote:I remember taking a picture of a no swearing sign that they have posted all over the streets, stupidest law ever.

My favorite class in high school was programming essentials. It was something I was pretty good at (knew html going into it and some c++) and had lots of fun in. Learned how to make my own games, screensavers, programs, etc....

Technically, if you knew your stuff, or had a lawyer who did, both of those issues would be more than covered by the First Amendment. What all "democratic" countries are offering isn't true freedom of speech, expression or information; its freedom as long as they like whats being said or done. Not true democracy, in fact its a veiled dictatorship. If it was a democracy, censorship wouldn't exist.jonmartensen wrote:No. Protecting profanity under freedom of speech is the same as protecting masturbating in public as freedom of expression.
