its when you said the backlight isnt all that great
then you say gamegear rules

the only thing gamegear had was a backlight and craptastic battery life

I said the backlight wasn't much of a contribution to the new GBA, not that it's not a good thing, just not reason enough to buy a new one. I don't see how I contradicted myself. The Gamegear does rule! Even if I do have to play mine plugged into the wall!

The greatest irony here is all the old Sonic gamegear games will likely be released onto the GBA.

Sonic works for Mario now

Well, no problem, I still own a Gamecube and GBA so I'm not complaining. Yet I doubt a re-release of the Gamegear games, they were too obscure, but a release of Sonic 1-3&K looks promising!

Not even backlit? Damn, definately makes it not worth it, and purchase is required to use headphones!? Definately a no no, I give this product a thumbs down. Buy a GBA, power pack and a floodlight, cheaper, and better, with a much better design for controller use. But if you want cool, small, and an excuse to give Nintendo more money, go ahead.
