I think its fine to have an anime name, just as long as you don't act like an obsessed fanboy.

It might be ok to name yourself after an anime but what if along the line you can't stand the character and anime anymore and you end up changing your name . . . Then people wont really know who you are. Even if you tell them you will have to remind some people and that could get annoying quick. But oh well to each his own.
