I just don't buy a Skyline GTR R34 cuz I know that if I buy one......

I'll kill myself,cuz I'm sure that I'm gonna push the accel at full ^ ^

So I choose a Toyota truck to not die so fast . . .

Yeah, the SVT Cobra is a nice vehicle. However, it uses the same crappy DOHC 4.6L V8. You'd think Ford could introduce a new 302, 351, or 429 Cammer V8. Dodge has managed to come out with a 5.7L Hemi, so why can't the Blue Oval guys come out with a new variation on a classic V8?

I prefer the Bullitt Mustang myself, because of the '68 interior and exterior styling cues (the classic black gauges, 5 spoke mag wheels, etc). But if I had to choose a decently-priced performance car, I'd pick the new Ford GT (the new 2003 rendition of the classic GT-40).

As far as looks go I dont have anything against FORD. But in performance I have yet to be satisfied by one. Every new FORD I have purchased has broken down within 1 day of buying it. Of course everytime that happens I return to Chevy or GM. Though if I ever have a spare 35 grand I think Im gonna buy a DeLOREAN. I can modify it with the new Gummy powered accelerator in order to time travel, or in the very least have a cool looking car.

Dude, the 4.8 L V8 is a good engine. Its the V6 in the stock mustang thats a piece of shit. Infact, that whole car is pretty shitty. It leads a lot of people to discount all the other higher performance models. But Cobra especially has a lot of quality in it. I mean, each engine is hand built by a two man team that sign their names on the engine..I cant think of another car that doesnt cost over 100k that has that. The thing puts out 390 HP stock, and with around a 1500 dollar upgrade(brinnging the cars total price to around 40k on the high side) you can get it up to 500hp. And this isnt even anything under the heads. I always considered it a good thing they just didnt go and throw in a bigger 5.4 L or something V8 to try and get more HP like in the trans ams. And in the end the car ended up far outperforming any trans am even with its smaller engine.

Thats nice, now tell that to all the FORDs Ive bought that have broken down right after I have bought them.

Then again Im not a car buff. I dont care if a car can go over 150 mph or not. Unfortunatly I go the speed limit so, all I need is a car that goes 80 mph and thats all. In fact I hate cars that can go extremely fast, they are purchased by stupid people who try to go as fast as possible indangering other people. There really should be a device on cars that restricts them from going a certain amount over the speed limit. I seriously think that would save a few lives. Oh well, Ive added my commentary so Im done, we're getting off topic anyways.

I didnt say all Fords were great cars. I even admitted that the stock Mustangs are garbage, and the same with any other trendy teen car(Focus, Jetta, Eclispe..etc) But the GTs and the Cobra are the exception and deserve credit where its due.
