I know i'm a little late with this, but i was once apon a time a NooB. Hell, now that i think about it, i still am in a way. O_o;
But back to the point. When i first came here, i got sliced, diced, pueree'd, and frapee'd by Ogre and the other NooB hunters. I didn't get scared off, (Which is now obvious by looking at my post count *Manly pose* 8) )
in fact, that's what made me come back, i enjoy a challenge every now and again and be damned if Ogre and the rest of them didn't give me just that. ^^
My view on the NooB hunting is if you can't brush off something like your death being typed out to you in cyberspace, then why do you even bother waking up in the morning? There are many a threat irl that can't even compare to the fake ones here.

While I agree with everything you have said, Cain, the point is not about the "n00bs" and their ability to cope with being verbally dismembered. It is about the hypocricy and attitude of those who dismember them.

Touch'e, but it's all in good fun though. I'm pretty sure no one here has a real intentions of hurting somone on the otherside of the screen....or do they?

It's all in fun, but good is debatable. =PCain T. Longshot wrote:Touch'e, but it's all in good fun though. I'm pretty sure no one here has a real intentions of hurting somone on the otherside of the screen....or do they?
I don't think anybody really thinks they intend to hurt anybody, nor do I think they actually hurt anybody.
What they do actually presents a n00b with a demonstration of what is acceptable behavior, this way they may fully understand the levels of immaturity they are allowed to display in these forums.

It is just flat out, rude and childish. I too, wish they would stop for good.OtakuOutpost wrote:It's all in fun, but good is debatable. =PCain T.
