I know what you mean, but it's not to be anymore harmful then the Flu. It's just that they're not sure how to fight it off. Supposedly healthy people can have their immune system beat it, and the main amount of people who have died were much older. I have a few friends who had to be quarantined, because of that rule about a 10 day quarantine after visting the hopital lately. -_-Mirai MM wrote:Well, to keep sort of on topic with Canada and all, this whole SARS thing that's going around is really beginning to freak me out seeing as the latest death at Markham-Stouffville hospital is about 15 minutes away from where I live/work and about 2 minutes away from where my mom works...
lol, I wish it was that easy. Just too many gramatical rules and such. -_-kthulhu wrote:French is easy. You talk in English with a higher pitched nasal accent, say "Ohh oui!" a lot if you're female, fart after every fifth word, and spit after every third. When not engaged in conversation, mumble incoherently about Renard and his grandson, the thieving bastard.

yea it was the same with the west niles virus, unless you were a bird, or a person with a weak immune system you were fine. the only people who have ever died form the west niles virus that i've ever heard about were either very young, or very old people. On thursday i had to restrain myself from laughing in the faces of these people from my school i saw at the mall, they were walking around wearing these masks ... it was so weird. The masks as i understand are almost useless, unelss somone with SARS starts sneezing in your face you don't have to worry. But thats jsut my understanding of the illness, i really don't know very much, or care very much about it.

LOL! 3 hours with no post and it's dead? You must be apart of some VERY lively forums. Anyways, it's Saturday. Most people are doing other stuff and so on.
Talking about Canada, you could say the battle of Ontario is on right now! Of course I'm talking about hockey, Toronto vs. Ottawa. Though since this is the last game of the season, it's not very aggressive or anything. No one wants to get hurt before the playoffs. lol It's like the All-Star game! lol
