I'm not really going to talk so much about how I was taught because that is a dead giveaway. I turned out as worse as him in what was done.
So here's the question, is it truly what you decide the answer to be? that it is the same? Are all answers so simply based on the fact that similarity would mean the same answer? Or is it that the true answers are commonly obscured by the most simplest form of the ideals of reality?
It is a really boring subject to most, so really I d try not to go there. But these last two days are like... pushing me through the glass heh. Hopefully I'll return back to that wierd character of mine.
Anyway dude, good luck on the answers, And I'll give you a hint, these answers are not in books or anything media.
hehehe

I think it's a fascinating topic! I could discuss philosophical questions for hours.
However, I'll provide my response to your question(s) in one short quote:
The question is its' answer.

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Don't mind Kthulhu Otohiko,
The answer is the question but there are more answers obscured by the shadows of simplicity. Philosophy is very easy, but in these ages, nobody really understands how much power they have over creating the minds of the young.
The only question in the universe that needs to be asked is... What is?
and there is only one answer to that question. That answer you'll need to find otohiko. I know it but I cannot give you the answer.
just take away the walls of complexity and strip down the the acts of simplicity and there is the answer.

hold on before you say the answer, speak with me through msn messenger. we don't really want to blurt out the answers to those who are awaiting them so that they do not need to do any work.

Now that's a worthy intellectual challenge!
I won't be on MSN tonight much but will look for you when the opportunity arises (soon).
I'm gonna think this one for a while - right now, I'm in that stage of life where I don't really have any 'burning' questions. Which is why I'm interested in figuring out just what question you mean...

Yea, don't worry about us thoughtful types people This is mostly between me, him, and whoever else is up to the riddle...
***
I'm not gonna stress over this much, don't worry - like you said, not to complicate it (but rather simplify). On the other hand, like someone else said - the simplest task is the most difficult to discharge superbly. Let's just look at it as a small task then...

People confused by all that's been said on this page - please don't throw anything at us! We're just thinking... we don't need stuff in our hair while we're at it

You guys remind me of two characters from the Hitchhikers Guide books.
Anyway since nearly everyone on the forum has posted in this thread, I'll feel left out if I don't as well
The child was going to be a dangerous member of society. He didn't actually kill anyone but he brought the guns to school which obviously seems to be intent to kill. If he thought it was ok to kill massive amounts of people (for whatever reason) he was worthless. Even if he was a child, he made a decision to take other people's lives...something no one is entitled to do.
Obviously he was messed up in the head. Either he planned to kill himself at the end anyway, or did not think the consequences through clear to the end. Maybe it was because he was a child....but think of how many 'adults' act that way on a daily basis.
A person who can't be controlled by the most fundamental laws is not fit to live in society. Killing people is wrong no matter what in my opinion, though Klinky's pic goes into that gray area, it's all still wrong to me.
Judging by the story, he seemed to be almost fantasized by the power of controlling other people with guns and it only would have gotten worse as he got older. I think he killed himself to avoid punishment and the results of being caught. It was cowardly, but it was better than him taking other people's lives.
I don't blame his friends and I hope they don't get treated worse by their peers for it all. He was probably bullied by other kids, had little or no parental involvement in his life, and no one to turn to. I see the people around me barely grow into adults before they have kids of their own. It's bad but it really has always been this way. Everyone on this planet is screwed up so it's no suprise the kids are screwed up too
