What's your fav FF game and why? + my rant...

Forgetting the gameplay for a moment(which I thought was the best of all FF's) FFVII!!!!!!
This Final Fantasy has the best storyline hands down, I've seen 30 page essays on what happened in the past and all the little secrets and plotry. twists and history...god it goes on forever. I've even seen a essay by a college english(or literature, or something) major giving the opinion of how much better it is than shakespeare. Hell, by the game(its only 15 bucks now) for no better reason than to read an amazing story. However you really have to get past the beginning and play the game to its fullest to get the most out of the story.
On to gameplay, maybe not the best, but way betta than 8 and 9, and a lot easier to use than 10. Plus even though the graphics weren't like 8 or 9, i thought the summons were still mostly cooler looking.

hey all

i know that you probably havent played it but ever heard of unlimited saga for PS2?

I have NO idea why but i really liked the innovative style of gameplay/battles

Also have any of you ever played(watched) Xenosaga lol! More of a movie than a game but i think it will end with really great story/char detail at the end of episode 7
One more thing-Is that avatar Big O BrahRizor? Cuz if it is then where did you get it?

I agree that the best FF was probably 6. I couldn't stand 8, at this point I started saying the series should be called Final Sci Fi instead of Final Fantasy. And I never played 9 or 10 cause I really didn't care for the characters. If I don't think the characters are cool then there is no point in playing it cause watching a plot about people you don't care about = waiste of time.

I've played Ogre Battle, I've only beaten twice though so far. I can never bring myself to kill Deneb in that, she's too cute even if she is an evil manipulative witch.

A list of rpgs I think are great that aren't Final Fantasy are

Lunar: The Silver Star Story

And if I could figure out how to read japanese I'd probably say Slayers Royal but I can't so...

Heh, she does have that effect...I killed her once just to see what would happen if i did...

If you haven't played Harvest Moon, go find an emulator and ROM of it and do so right now. You won't regret it.

Oh, and Tactics Ogre (the sequel), too.
