That long haired pussy? BAH! If we're talking X-Men Universe then why not mention ONSLAUGHT! Prof X and Magneto's powers COMBINED! But if we can't use him then Cable, the most powerful psychic in the world (If only he could figure out how to bloody use his powers well without freaking out).

I think X Men 2 kicked major ass, so much better than part 1. I am stoked for part three when they do the Phenoix Saga. I think Colossus should have played more of a role in it but it was good that he was at least in it this time. I would like to see Juggernaut play a role in part 3 if possible, maybe even Mr.Sinister or Apocalypse. Looking further I would really love it if someday to make a movie based on the Age of Apocalypse saga but I am getting ahead myself.

Some how I think jubilee was in the movie although its not mentioned, if you notice at the end the girl who says "professor!" looks amazingly like jubilee, she even had the large earrings.

They should take every X-character that ever appeared in any X-Title and put them into the next movie making it a truly inconcievable mess.

I also want the Skrull and Shi'ar. I want Galactus, the Avengers, SHIELD, the FF, New Warriors. I want Thor. I want the Black Panther. I want the Savage Land and Sauron, and they should have a portion of the film dedicated to XMEN 2099 (now there was some quality...

). And while the Xmen are dealing with the Phoenix, I also want the writers to throw in the Phalanx and Legacy virus for good measure. But that means we need The Hellfire Club, and the Hellfire Club means the White Queen and her Hellions. Might as well tie it all into the "Age of Apocalype" too; Hmmm, then they could introduce Cable and try and explain his background history. I want Xmen vs. Capcom. Oh the fun. Might as well do some cross-over promotion too, so that we have to see 7 different movies to find out what happened during the various overlapping parts of the story.

I mean...more is better right?

I saw it tonight. It was pretty cool. I am somewhat familiar with the characters, but I was with someone who is a huge comic book fan and he explained the phoenix thing to me.

Actually, not necessicarily. Not contradicting what you're saying, but Mystique could hardly have injected pure iron into the guard's body, therefore it was going in as an ion (Fe2+ or Fe3+) complexed with something, right? What if it wasn't a salt, but a chelated compound like EDTA? The chelation effectively renders the ion harmless (it's usually how they treat people who get iron poisoning) or at least slows down the effect so it's just killing his liver slowly.

The only thing I really regret about X2 was NO SENTINELS. I woulda paid a sizeable amount to see Magneto take apart a six-story robot.

As for the rest of it, am I the only one WORRIED about X3? I mean, the first two were cool as hell, but we're talking about the frickin' Pheonix saga here. To tell it the way the comics did, you're gonna have to introduce the whole Shi'ar empire, not to mention the Guardians and the Hellfire Club. (OK, the Hellfire club would kick ass...esp with Emma Frost walking around...they could do a movie just on them...) It's just that the story's so damn LONG, and that's even assuming they end it early, before Marvel changed their minds and decided to undo the whole damn thing. (Oh, everybody who watched the cartoon? You know the bit where they brough Jean back to life by giving some of their life-force? Didn't happen. How'd they bring her back in the comics? Don't ask. People are still pissed about it.) The movies are great (minor flaws and all) but I think the Pheonix saga is just biting off too much.
