I hope you're being sarcastic...MAS PRODUCTIONS wrote:It's been my experience that if someone cant speech my language I dont to talk to them, especially if its in a country that speechs English.Spanish can be a very very useful language to know - especially if you live in a big city like NYC or LA...
or if you live in Spain, of course...
At my highschool it is "highly" recommended that you take 2 years of spanish or french. I simply told my couciler to "fuck off" because there is no need for any damn foreign languages.
Japanese is a bitch to learn . . .

Wow, that is a little closed minded.
I think that unless a person is on vacation and will only be spending a short time in a foreign country they should learn the common language of that country. In Southern Texas it can really piss you off to have people who can only speak spanish, and they have been in the States almost their whole freakin lives!!!
I went on a trip to Germany/Switzerland a few years back and even though we were only going to be there for three weeks I made sure I had at least a basic understanding of the German Language so I wouldn't have to rely on using a dictionary and hoping the other person spoke english just to ask where a bathroom is or something simple like that.

Which will go totally overlooked by all the people that feel it is unnecessary to know any other language than the one(s) spoken in the country they reside in.Tsuji Mania wrote:*thinks paizuri has the best name*

Hehe! I play on a Korean MMORPG called Kingdom of the Winds.. they don't allow cussing, but I decided to name my character Bakayaro. This way I could see how long it would take for them to notice, see whether or not they care, see how many people will laugh at my name (Most people on it are english speaking and anime fans ), AND see how many times I can be called a dork because of my nameErMaC wrote:Both are about as vulgar.
