We will always have hate and war until Pikachu makes a stand...

Pika... pika PIKA...

Think about those words.

That is probably what made us so smart in the first place. Having a primate society with a leader and his allies, waging war on other groups of primates for resources and territory.

I agree it is human nature. If we truely can't evolve past that on our way up the chain, then we were doomed to fail anyway. It's probably no suprise the human race is alone as a member of it's species.

We are great at becoming intelligent and then using that intelligence to create weapons. And I believe it's not bloody likely we can evolve into our own intelligence before we let our primitive motives destroy us (ultimately) and have to either start over or just end up killing ourselves off one way or another.

Eh? Smart? Hmm... not so sure about that one, Misty. :? Smarter, sure, but not smart.
Kusoyaro: We don't need a leader. We need to SHUT UP. Make what you want to make, don't make you what you don't want to make. If neither of those applies to you, then you need to SHUT UP MORE.

I concede to that point ^_^

Let me correct myself..

The conflicts our ancestors had as lower primates, and their shoddy version of natural weapons bore a bigger brain and problem solving skills(various other things too like environment, location of food) that one day led us to make things like coffee makers, cars, and digital watches.

These things are technologies no other animal has yet to do.....but watch out for the dolphins with opposable thumbs... :?

Very well put, Misty. Digital watches are pretty nifty. :D

Yes, because they might be able to wriggle out of the nets, and then WHAT HAPPENS TO OUR TUNA?

However, I would prefer it if people took the time to understand and learn about the elements that shape our past rather than making statements that suggest that events just happen without any precipitating reasons.
Why bother to say that? I've noticed that many on this board take great offense to people with knowledge. I mean... if you've studied things and read books and actually have knowledge on hand and try to use that knowledge to explain your points, there are many on this board who instantly get offensive at you... call you arrogant and stuck up and accuse you of acting superior.

I agree with you completely, by the way.

There have been many factors that have led up to this situation and quite a few of them come right back to America's doorstep, but since quite a few don't like thinking or just have taken an apathetic view to all things, it can be very frustrating to the people who do pay attention and do study and do try to connect dots.

Well... I just had to comment, because I undertand the frustrations you're talking about...

So here's a huzzah for you Earthcurrent!
