The M2 0.50 caliber machine gun has served our military well for DECADES . Since the 1920's, at least.
The zeros machine guns only fired rifle rounds. So you can imagine the difference between that and a 50 cal.

Finnish air force used swastika long before Germany. When Finnish airforce was 'formed' when swedish count Erich Von Rosen donated Thulin Palasor to 'whites' during Finnish civil war.Otohiko wrote:That pisses me off a bit too, that swastika thing!
Family symbol was a swastika so that became an official finnish badge until after WWII. If anyone here has played some simulations (like European Air War or Sturmovik), you might know that some people who make plane 'skins' also remove the swastika....

btw, if anyone knows where I could find a 'continuation war' add-on for European Air war, please let me know.

Yes, totally true. I play Forgotten Battles, and it has all the Finnish planes with a blue bullseye-like symbol (I think it's the one the modern Finnish airforce uses). Needless to say, same with all the German planes... although people do make custom skins to restore the accuracy.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Man this pisses me off people getting upset over a kick ass looking symbol. I like the Iron cross better I know morons who don't distinguish between that and the swastika. Anyway the finns were brave fighters in world war 2. I really admire thier courage.

Yup, bullseye is the current symbol. I heard programmers made possible to fly brewster just to please finnish playersOtohiko wrote:Yes, totally true. I still don't like that you cannot fly all possible planes in FB. I mean, people would probably like to test out Fokker DX.1 or Morane-Saulnier even if they are crappy planes. No really need to have all those Bf109 variants and stuff.
I enjoy a fan made add-on for EAW where you can fly at North Africa with RAF, Luftwaffe or Regio Aeronautica. It's really a challenge to fly with italian planes which are pretty slow and unmanouverable (expect Folgore) and pathetically armed. Especially bomber formations are tough nuts to crack with italian planes....
