Yeah, Gargoyles and Xmen are both good examples of shows where the villians werent one dimentional. Hell, Gargoyles especially. Every single character was really fleshed out and explored. Villians like Demona and Mcbeth especially. They both had a couple long story arcs atleast somewhat devoted to their history. And Xanatos ended up becoming a good guy at the end of the series, for reasons that made sense. And also, anime is guilty of the one dimensional villian thing more than its not. I can list so many. Seriously, you people gotta stop acting that just because its anime its good, and just because its american, its sucks. Thats bullshit. Anime on average is just like american movies. Most suck, and are just rip offs of older movies, and every once in a while, something decent comes along. Look at it this way. American distro companies only bring over anime that looks like it can be successful(was succesful in Japan) pretty much, and even a good portion of that is bad. Think of all the stuff that never even got touched outside of the Japan because of how bad it was.

Will The Real Neo Hentai Master please stand up.

Call me crazy, but I tend to like a few American shows:
The Critic
Invader Zim
etc..

Why does everyone hate Ed, Edd and Eddy? I love dat show. CodeName: Kids Next Door is pretty good. Not the best mind youse, but pretty good. Gargoyles does rule, but so does Tale Spin, Darkwing Duck, Ducktales, Rescue Rangers, Goof Troop and Quack Pack.

As far as bad shows, any Scooby-Doo spin off with the exeption of A Pup Named Scooby Doo sucked ass. The Star Wars cartoons sucked. Cat-Dog, Hey Arnold, Chalk Zone, and Doug(Disney) sucked. Johnny Quest the New Adventures, the New TMNT(It looks like Jackie Chan Adventures, similar style), Totally Spies!, any 70s cartoon. Looney Tunes from like '65 to now suck.

My Pet Monster rocked! I just remembered that. Along with Danger Mouse, NOT FUCKEN MIGHTY MOUSE, Danger Mouse with his sidekick Penfold.

Heck, animation in the 30's, 40's and 50's were VERY good; I'm impressed with the realistic drawings they made. Now animators became MORE LAZY with animation ever since we could use a computer to do cheap motions (with the exception with Pixar in my opinion).

Ok, since bro won't mention it or even hint @ it, I guess I'll have to point it out. I pretty much agree w/the lot of you about most Disney and Nickelodeon shows. Alot of them were/are just mindless be-nice-and-your-reward-will-be-great-type of crap in order to tell kids to be happy little bunnies and share hugs and rainbows w/other people.

I wasn't entirely fond of a show called David the Gnome, where this gnome was a doctor and saved other forest creatures. I just couldn't stomach him very long.

The Police Academy series was utter garbage. 'Nuff said.

One other series that I thought was just wrong was The Tom and Jerry Kids' Show. Why did they talk? Weren't they just as popular when they were mute?

Following on the talking animal thing, why did Taz have his own show? Like I'm so damn curious about a marsupial that barely does anything intelligent, if ever anything helpful/funny, and what his family is like.

I'm done for now. Hopefully big bro will heed my advice, whether good or bad. :D
