Anyhow, getting back on the video game track, who cares about leathal's GBA? Not I, says man on the street kthulhu. Who even cares about the GBA, when kthulhu now has a genuine Panasonic 3DO FZ-10 console?
No one, that's who!

I can understand that, i myself don't need any school. And not to start another flaming here like CaTaClYsM's harcore stupidness, I'm still going. i plan to get a buisness and chemistry degree.Timelessblurr wrote:why? I only have to do engish 1302 and I never have to put up with it again. I be making more money than most of you. On top of that I be doing what I love and that building crap
As long as you can read, you should be fine as an engineer. but on the making all that money, my uncle is an engineer, and it's not as easy as you think. He works on professional nascar pit crew teams, but it took him until he was over 40 because of the lack of education. This includes all subjects, not just working with the cars. Pretty much ebcause anyone today that's going to make a lot of money engineering, are going to work with people. Good luck though to you.

Opinion, opinion, opinion. Nothing worth mentioning of that was fact, all opinion. I can get a GBA, power pack and light for less than the price the GBA:SP seems to be. All new, all official. But maybe that's just where I shop.
Smallness? Opinion. I prefer the original GBA despite it's size for the way it handles. That's what I was talking about when I mentioned as a controller, not about hooking it up to the Gamecube.
I have had no problems with scratching of the screen, (it hardly requires any effort to look after your stuff) or needing to tilt the screen and suffering neck aches. But again, maybe that's just me.
Buy what you bloody like, my entire post was opinion, and so was yours, so you cannot prove me wrong, and I can't you. Just go back to sleep, that's where you must have been when you wrote that post.
And bitch to Timelessblur, but only after you look up the word 'for-matt-ing'.
Please don't reply to this post, lest you bury yourself deeper in the spiral of stupidity you're currently travelling. No wonder so many people just ignore you.

PlanetGameCube posted more news about this. Notable excerpts:
The "SP" stands for "Special".
The GBA SP has been in development since the standard Game Boy Advance was released.
All accessories work with it, everything. Including the e-Reader.
Screen is the same size as the standard GBA.
"I think it feels better than the original Game Boy Advance." - Billy
Kirby's Tilt and Tumble (and other Tilt Pak games) will NOT work, due to the orientation of the cartridge slot and the unit. Pokemon Pinball and other Rumble Pak games WILL work.
Lid is held closed by friction only, no latch or magnet.
Screen is very solid, will only move on its own under extreme movement. There should be no problem with jiggling the unit while playing and having the screen move.
LED will still turn red when battery is running low, just like the standard Advance.
Light has a simple on/off button near the hinge, visible in all the screenshots
Headphone adapter is indeed sold separately, no pricing yet.
There is a screw on the bottom that can be used to access the battery, but it's currently unknown if battery will be user replaceable.
The GBA SP CAN be used while on AC Power.
Screen is lit from the sides, just like the Afterburner, but the GBA SP is lit from ALL sides, not just the top down like the AfterBurner.
GBA SP looks better than the Afterburner, with no blue tint.
The single mono speaker was kept for size reasons, and consistency with previous units.
The GBA will continue to be manufactured, no word yet on a price drop for the GBA.
GBA SP is NOT a replacement for the GBA, meant to address a different market segment. It's an expansion of the series, not a redesign.
Targetted towards older gamers and adults.
Shoulder buttons feel great. Not too small, feel better than the original. No finger fatigue was noted, although longer play times will tell for sure.

Panda,
you said in your posts, that you didn't like the new GBA for all the things you mentioned. You were overly elabrate and said how could anyone like it, it's horrible. I wasn't saying I like it because it's smaller, I was saying it's smaller. There's a fact. My entire post is like that. you go on explaining why people shouldn't buy it, and why it's bad for them. you don't know them, or that it's bad because like the rest of us you've never seen it. and if you adore buying tons of batterys time and time again, go ahead and upgrade a normal GBA. Because that's appearently how YOU like it. how ever most people in this topic were saying how they like long battery life, the GBA: SP exceed GBA upgrade models so much it's not even funny. so pretty much what I did was list facts, and people could determine what they thought of the system from there. you pretty much talked about everything I fixed for you, except you said they were all bad things, and people probably don't like it, they shouldn't waste their money. Sure i generalized an opinion and said I'm for all my stuff, but again I simply stated a list of facts GBA: SP v.s. GBA Upgrade.
Perhaps you should try understanding a post before you flame it.
And one more thing complelty off the topic of pros and cons
Can you honestly tell me that you've played a GBA and you don't have alighting problem with out ackwardly bending the entire console? Cuz if you do, i want to know where you play it, and what you're doing.
If anyone wants to read my last post, you can see the diffrences between GBA: SP v.s. GBA Upgrade. (or GBA in general) and you can then make your own decision which one you favor.

No, why don't YOU read a post properly before flaming it. I never said how no one could possibly like it. I also said anything you said WORTH mentioning was opinion. You stated that it was smaller. Which it is. Which has been mentioned several times. Thank you for the help with that, I didn't quite get it the 7th time.Jace Tsunami wrote:Panda,

No, I honestly don't have problems. I play in lit rooms, y'know, electricity and the like. Either that or outside, normally in the day, I've yet come across the need to play my GBA outside at night. What I'm doing? Y'know, looking at the screen, pushing buttons and the like, I don't think there's any trick to it.
The battery life on the GBA is decent as it is, and I find no problem with purchasing batteries which I buy anyway for other things. I was just stating how I wouldn't bother upgrading for the meagre improvements and just as meagre disadvantages. Although personally I'd prefer a better handling machine to a small one.
OPINION.
So most people here were saying they like it? So the minority opinion is void then?
The spiral of stupidity continues...
