If you look at how many people that died in 9/11 is nothing compared to the suffering and death caused by America's 'wars' that they themselves started.
USA has a plan to first conquer the arab-world and at the same time they're pinning down Russia. They have a lot of troops around the borders and when that's completed. It's time for Europe

The U.S. has a plan for world peace. The 3rd world is a giant road block here. Sure the chinese koreans what ever cause problems, but if they lived in a peacefull world, what cocnerns would they have?
Ending conflicts in the 3rd world would probably elad us to world peace.
We already have russia, bush talked to their rpesident and we're allies again, there's no diffrent connection between them and us as there is between us and brittain.
it's dumb to think the U.S. is trying to conquore the world, that's just toof are fetched, you watch too many government science fiction movies.

That's one of the things I have been hearing as a reason why hundreds of thousands of people around the globe have been protesting this past weekend. That and what happens if nuclear and chemical weapons start being used? The winners of that war won't have won much....just a planet of dead things and (depending on how bad) nuclear winter and fallout.
I get the columbus dispatch everyday and read while I am online. American news sources are so biased and when they do report things where foreign peoples say 'The u.s. is trying to conquer the world' they mock it in a ' ' kind of way.
The letters to the editor seem to be the real window into how people feel. If you read those, you get the feeling the polls that support war must be asking a select group of people.

How would World Peace be achieved? By the American military and government?
How is the American way the best way? Does everyone have to be americans to be 'normal', peaceful and live in a friendly world?
Mr. Bush said in his election speech that he would strive for peace and a safe country. But as soon as the needle fell he wanted war eventhough a massive folkopinion didn't want war, he still went on with it.
- Could it be that he did it to safekeep his role as the President and make himself look good and like 'a man of action'?
Dubious IMO.
If I could I would remove the rod up the ass of the rod up his ass.

I think that the government wants to control more of the world's commerce than it should. I don't think that they want to stake the flag in every country on the planet though. They still have no business doing what they do....every nation is it's own and we should be partners not try and snatch up what we can when we can.
For the oil situation it's like a boat of dying men trying to steal the water bottle from each other when there is only a drop left anyway. Oil will last a while...if we squeeze every last bit from the ground but I just think with the advances we have we can make different forms of fuels. Then we wouldn't have to deal with nations that hate us. But the leverage would be different because then we wouldn't be trading like we are now. Oil for Food program is a joke.
And lots of 3rd world countries have nothing to trade...and location issues or little understanding of industry and world commerce to compete. There are so many problems. But installing a new regime every time we think some country threatens the world economy doesn't work! It looks like it does because there is progress being made and oil still runs but with so much bloodshed and hardship for the people in those rich oil countries. Their governments ARE bad but the ones we install are the same. Nothing improves...so aside from having no right, we just screw things up more the way we do things.
