Can someone please help me with my art journal for collage?

Can anyone please suggest artists that delve into depression in terms of poses with their subjects/models and studies of bedrooms? In terms of lighting, I would prefer night time, dusk and sunset.

I would prefer the paintings not to be abstract or too unrealistic.

Hmmm... I may be in art this semester, and actually looking into stuff like this for school work, but I really have no idea. I've never been one to remember an artists name if I like their work. -_-

This is an obvious answer, but with your discription how can one not think of La chambre de Van Gogh à Arles. That may not be what you're looking for, but maybe doing searches on it will direct you to more paintings for your study.

Thanks but I've already mentioned that painting in my journal, and I have searched on google for in hope that it would lead me to something more relavent but unfortunately it has not. Thanks for the suggestion.

I wouldn't mind so much, its just that I have been able to find anything directly related in the books from collage.

Oh well, if anyone else has any suggestions ...please...suggest...?

Also Anime Jedi, I usually nenver remember artisits names...but that has been changing recently.
