Ever been Arrestead?

Post by Kangrejoman » Wed Aug 13, 2003 1:19 am

Don't know if I am allowed to post a topic like this, but oh well.

Fortunately for me, none, because I never do anything wrong in the real world. So I remain innocent for good. How many times have you been arrestead?

The closest I got was some cops chasing me down to ask a friend and I what we were doing behind our state parliement house with torches and snooping around at around 11pm. They assumed we were busting into cars and called up a check on our names and searched us. We were pretty dodgy and could have taken in that night if they had found the underground maps we had and if I still had the two speed pills on me but luckily we didn't and got let off with a caution.

I almost got arrested a couple weeks ago or so.

I was at a show in downtown Dallas and the clubs capacity wes over by 5 times. So focourse the police came to break it up because it was a fire hazard, but here's the thing, they stopped the band that was playing right in the middle of their song, and told everyone to get the hell out. The band was playing their second to last song, there was less than 6 minutes of the show left, so there was a lot of anger, people cussing out cops and yelling and all sorts of shit.

The police called in a small riot squad, had cops on bicycles with paintball guns and stuff. When they told everyone tog et out the band that was playing was like, "alright, well fuck that shit, we'll just do an acoustic set in the middle of the street and plug up traffic" Soa fter the band said that the police were giving tickets and making arrests for even standing in the street.

Well, it was REALLY hot that day, and steaming hot in the club (as you can imagine a small enclosed space where the capacity was over by 5 times) so we were looking to cool off. There was a broken sprinkler on the other side of the street and all the water was going into the street itself, so we all went over there and played under the sprinkler. Ontop of this my friend got a police bicycle and rode it around. He got shot in the ass by a painball gun for that a couple times =/

Well the popos came over to arrest us, but we're good friends with the band that played, so the tour manager rushed over and told them that we were with the band, so we got some written warnings, but no arrests.

If the tour manager hadn't come out tho we all would have been arrested. (btw through out this post when I say all of us or what not I mean me and my friends, there was about 4 or 5 of us)

That reminds of other run ins.
I got escorted out of a festival for moshing to hard by cops who treatly me as if I was some threat by each tightly holding one arm and forcing me to keep pace. (Not a problem except I was totally fucked.)

And of course there were cops pushing us into line at the anti war protests earlier in the year but nothing major.

I could have been arrested for a few things if I'd gotten caught. But the closest I've come would be traffic violations - one for wreckless driving (my friend messed with the radio, I looked over and swerved a bit, and I didn't notice there was a cop car behind us - he followed us for 2 blocks before I saw the lights), and my accident (pulled out in front of a truck when I was half asleep - totaled my car, the other guy was fine). Otherwise my record's clean. :?

I´m sure a lot of people have things they could have been arrested for, under age drinking being a big one. Being in places they shouldn´t. Drug use. Posession of a concealed weapon. Most of them petty crimes though.

I almost got arrested due to some poor shmuck who pulled a knife on me and then I "decided" to use deadly force... [it's a freakin' reflex for God's Sake... :( ]

[the guy's fine though and is no longer a thug thank goodness]

I'm friends with most of the cops in my area [you should talk to the poor fools once in a while, they're not as bad as you may think]

The fact that a large amount of them train at my martial arts school has nothing to do with this I'm certain...

Back in secondary school my friend and I once got arrested for stealing pens at a supermarket, all worth more than a hundred fifty. The guards caught me while I was heading out to hide my backpack full of pens.

That was the first & last time we stole pens.
