Favorite Comic Characters and Series'

Post by Bebi-sama » Sun Aug 24, 2003 1:34 am

I like-
Archangel (Blue "Fall of the Mutants" version)
Cyclops (X-Factor version)
Apocalypse (Apocalypse > Magneto)
Northstar (Alpha Flight version)
Quicksilver

Series I'm collecting-
Old X-Factor
Uncanny X-Men (Austen sucks, though, but I've been reading it since Claremont and Lobdell)
New X-Men (Morrison isn't much better, but I've been reading it since they were the Blue team in "X-Men")
Xtreme X-Men (Growing on me)
Batman (Spot on perfect this year)
Flash (Almost as good as Batman, which is still pretty damn good)

I LIKE.....!!!

Rogue: Coz she's cool, and hot, and she was the first comic chick I ever got a "crush" on (hey, its valid in primary school, ok?)

Wolverine: Coz he's cool and kicks so much ass and has really cool powers PLUS a set of unbreakable adamantium claws to boot! (anyone who says they are his power, the claws, is STUPID!! His power is a massive healing factor, supersensetive, uhhh.... senses, speed, agility and strength. And a sharp wit.)

Magneto: Coz he gets so mad and evil sometimes, its scary!! Did you read the comic where he ripped Wolvie's adamantium off his bones and through his skin? I was like...

Ecto-Boy: A little known marvel character (i think) but not related to X-Men. He has spirit powers, because half his spirit is in the ghost world or something. He has an eye patch and looks a bit like a young Nick Fury.

Superman: Come on, this ones a no-brainer.

Doomsday: The ONLY person who was ever able to kill Superman. This kryptonian (yes, he was from Krypton too, read your DC history) was a living TANK, unstoppable, with the ability to evolve beyond ANY death dealt to him. He was ultimately defeated by the Waverider, who dumped him at the end of time. He died as the universe ended....or di he? dun dun DUNNNN

Hmm, since I haven't collected comics since about the time of Onslaught... I hafta say:

Characters:
Jubliee,
Rogue,
Gambit,
Venom,
Archangel (When he still had his metal wings but is white and blue costume)

Series
Marvel vs. DC (PWNZ J00),
X-Men,
Generation X,
Gambit Mini-series,
1991 Spidey,
'90 X-Men.

I think thats it...

Well if I had to chose only 1 comic here, it would be Spider-Man for sure. I mean he's really not your average guy, but he's got issues, doesn'T get along with women all that much, and he just has to cope with everyday life just like everybody else.
And besides that he is a super hero who makes the world a better place to live in. And he's got a damn fine style

Remember, with great power also comes great responsibility.
